I feel like the story "Done is better than perfect" was torn out from my life.

I hope that you will stick to your way of writing, it makes the message personal, which is rare amid mass newsletters. Informal and peculiar style - that's it, man. I wait for more...

Astonishing that you remember such things as my language concerns. Your side note just made my day!

Great sharing! I’ve been wanting to get onto a Facebook Ad Campaign course and need to stop procrastinating. Also at work I think I find myself picking on every little detail, though sometimes needed at my job - the overthinking I can definitely reduce. Done is better than perfect... hmm.

Overthinking can definitely be being analytical, and that's a good thing. I think we all know though when we are just thinking and living in our head, maybe going over all the 'theory' but not doing the 'practical' action required. I hope the phrase helps you, it's helped me big time!

Nice start, Joe! I've been hearing "done is better than perfect" from my stepmom for years and yet I still struggle with perfectionism. Glad you overcame it and finally jumped in. Looking forward to seeing more!

We definitely all struggle with it and I think it's a human default! My focus is to try and reduce the period of time I spend being a perfectionist instead haha!

Joe, I haven't reviewed your SaaS content but you aren't bad at writing at all, considering this is your first newsletter as well.

What an engaging and insightful piece to read. Made me feel like I was listening to you speak even though we've never talked before.

It's quite a task to keep a readers attention and well, you had mine till the end. So congratulations on that too!

So when it comes to me, one of the MANY things I've been thinking about is starting an Instagram page and a YouTube channel that gives pharmacy school or medical school kids information as well as can give drug information to the general public, and this thought has been lingering in my head since a year or more. It's quite easy to tell yourself, "you don't have a plan (structure), so let's start when you do" and then you just put it off and don't think about it for a while, and it keeps getting procrastinated.

I think that's one more reason why I felt extremely proud of how you did not let your limitations limit you while you began this. It is inspiring Joe.

Thank you for writing this, and I can't wait to read more from you. All the very best!!

Thank you so much for your time here Kainat, I really appreciate your message. It's great encouragement after taking the leap!

I completely resonate with you. What would be the first step? And what would be the MVP e.g. just the first, basic iteration. I imagine that is actually creating these pages to help make it feel real. Uploading a simple logo from Canva and then working out your first post?

Dip your toes into it. Do the first actions and see how you feel, if you feel excited I'm sure more action will come as a result of this. Activation energy is a great thing!

Amazing! What's a target you'd like to hit by Sunday which would be realistic but feel good?

No follower numbers I want - just a nice defined understanding of what audiences resonate so next week I can push hard :)
