Have a little blind faith...
This week’s newsletter is all about having blind faith. I’d like to thank some of you guys who have said this is your favourite newsletter. That really means a lot to me and encourages me to continue!

One thought: Having the blind faith to act 💪
If you’ve read an email from me before, you’ll know that one of my favourite books of all time is The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. A book I believe everyone on this planet should read.
One of my main takeaways of the book was that it’s so important to lean into our interests. You have different strengths than I do, different weaknesses, and you also get excited by different things. We are not the same.
And so, whenever an idea comes into your mind for a project, a business, or even just a hobby, you must act accordingly. If days and weeks pass and it’s still on your mind, this is when I believe we must exercise ‘blind faith’, we must understand that this is something we need to do.
Now, of course, we never know the outcome of things in advance and we never get to see a glimpse of where our actions might take us.
That’s the beauty of it.
How many times in your life have things happened that you didn’t plan for?
I was chatting to a friend last night when she asked me what I would define as ‘fulfillment’. The answer I gave, and the way I think about things, is that we all have individual things that interest us, and the more we lean into making those ideas a reality, the more fulfilled we will feel.
Fulfilment is feeling good from doing something.
An idea for me recently is to go hard on YouTube. I don’t really know why that’s on my mind and I don’t actually enjoy the editing side of things enough - I’ll have to find a way to overcome that - but at the end of the day, I’m drawn to it and I feel like I need to at least see why.
At the end of the day - and this makes me laugh - nobody was put on this planet to make videos. Videos are man-made. Nobody was put on this planet to write weekly emails, to play chess, to play sports… but we are drawn to certain things.
I think my main message today is this: sometimes we don’t need to know the ‘why’ and sometimes all it takes is just to trust the process.
Whatever you can stick to for a long period of time, in my eyes, will inevitably achieve some level of success because you’ve just stuck at it for long enough to see a benefit.
It’s not about the medium, it’s about the action. It’s not about what that thing actually is in a physical sense, it’s about the fulfilment and satisfaction of bringing to life something that was on your mind.
This week, I encourage you to implement on the ideas that have been on your mind for a while now. Remember this: you are drawn to things that are unique to you. Why not give yourself the opportunity to learn why?
Have some blind faith.

Joe
Content tip of the week 🚀
Watch what other people do! Look at your favourite creators online and dissect what it is you enjoy so much. With OG creators like Gary Vaynerchuk and Steven Bartlett, I look beyond what they are saying and more at what they are doing. They have full-time content teams who are being paid to experiment with new ways of capturing attention.
Observe, steal and benefit.
Resource of the week 🕹️
Video Speed Controller (Google Chrome extension)
This bad boy is incredible. Download this Chrome extension to have every video across the web auto-played at 2x speed. In fact, you can set this speed so it can be 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x… simply pick your preference in the settings.
THIS WILL SAVE YOU HOURS. Video Speed Controller works with recorded webinars, on YouTube and in online courses. To revert back to normal speed, all you have to do is press ‘R’. When this becomes a habit, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.
